the riot on the Evergreen State campus? My daughter went to Evergreen and I can tell you it seemed to be the most laid back, easy going campus I had ever been on. For those of you that don't know about Evergreen - it is known for being a "hippie" school - no grades, emphasis on making your own programs, environmental studies etc. It is, however, rated one of the top universities in the nation. Pretty strange for anything like that to happen there.
Here's a related story - when my daughter was a student there, she was dating Josh Blue. I don't know if any of you remember him, but he was the big winner last season on Last Comic Standing. When we went to graduation, Josh was wearing a graduation gown made entirely of live turf - green grass. It must have been extremely heavy!! But very creative!! Another alumni of Evergreen is Michael Richards - Kramer on Seinfeld. They really turn out some interesting graduates!

I really wasn't bragging - just strange when someone famous goes to your school. He's really pulled some blunders lately hasn't he?!

I'm not sure I'd be bragging about Michael Richards these days, lol!
I hadn't heard about the riot, but then again I rarely watch the news and I don't get the paper.
