Posted - Feb 15 2008 : 4:54:14 PM Anyone watch Carson Kresley on Oprah today? He had two Oprah audience members that he put through his 3 day process to help them love themselves. Would you do this? I have to admit, they really looked good in their naked pictures!

Posted - Feb 16 2008 : 07:11:19 AM About 20 25 years ago, when I was really skinny, I had a good friend who'd had three children. She was telling me she'd come to the conclusion that she'd decided having a little tummy was sexy!
Boy, did I get a good laugh out of that.
Now, 20 25 years later, I'm beginning to see the light. Which is good, because my toes have disappeared...

Posted - Feb 15 2008 : 9:33:44 PM Yes, watched and have seen the program on is it Lifetime. Would I do it, Yes. He deals with the reasons why and helping accept yourself where you are. IF I can't love me now, I will always find faults no matter what my size. I like his statement, weight is just a number. It doesn't represent who you are.

Posted - Feb 15 2008 : 6:33:49 PM I wish I could have seen that. Recently, I've noticed that I actualy like the way I look standing naked in front of the mirror. Yes, I still have mommy boobies and stretch marks, but they don't bother me lately. I am even carrying a little extra winter weight around my waist and that doesn't bother me. I use to avoid mirrors compleatly, but now I find myself actualy stopping to look. I'm not vain, but I am amazed that I can like what I see. I guess learning to be myself again and accepting who I am is having further reaching effects than I would have thought possable.
