So as I have posted before I'm really getting into the romantic/shabby chic style. I guess its my inner girlie girl coming out in full swing. I also have discovered altered art and LOVE IT. I used to do this sorta back in high school. But I need a lil more information or guidance. Anyone out there do this?

but..I have an area in my kitchen totally devoted to the farmgirl look..it's so cute too..milk bottle crate.. fake frizzle chicken, apron on a hook, and miniature kitchen tools, 2 gourd ducks..and an old milk pail filled with sunflowers.
I alter the displays out from time to time and have set aside a few cast iron tractor and wagon toys and metal truck filled with mini oranges ..these I'll swap out from time to time depending upon the seasons.
But now..most of my home is taking a make over..I took all the pictures off of the walls last week and have totally redone them all.

if you stop by my blog I have some altered art images tht you can save to your computer on todays post.
I too am getting on the bandwagon with the shabby chic look..probably a good 10 yrs behind the fad..ha.
but I have collected old vintage images for a while and decided to start getting them out from hiding and redecorating my home now.

I love the shabby chic too,
I am planning on making a quilt sometimes or other
I have 2 work -in -progress of another different colors.
I have been working on the purple grandmother's motif now for 2 spings , I just don't understand why it is taking so long?
Was planning on making a quilt for my couch to where you can snuggle under
With cotton flannel.
I can't seem to pick out a design
I guess I am in a quilt slump
I don't know much about the art thingy, sorry. pinkroses
