Just wanted you to know I'm sending one of my quilts to the Stone Soup Gift Shop in Republic so if you're in the area, pop in and browse!

The woman that started Stone Soup lives there - hence the Gift Shop. Guess I'm going to have to go there next time I'm east of the mountains! (If the pass stays open long enough - man can you beieve how bad i'ts been this year? All three - Snoqualmie, Stevens and White were closed at the same time a couple of days ago!)

We lived in a rented solar powered cabin on top of a ridge when we first moved here. It is a teeney tiny town. Marybeth I use to volunteer at Stonerose. We decided even though there were very good deals on property it was a little too small for us so we moved over the pass to Colville. JoAnn

I've never been there - I know it's a teeny tiny town - but according to Stone Soup - it's the only local gift shop in the area, so you never know!

I used to live in Republic--loved it, but that was a loooong time ago. I'd love to see your quilt and I wish I was over that way. MB
