Happy Friday Ladies!

Here's a fun question...

What makes your Soul Dance? What in your life puts a spring in your step and lights you up regardless of the stuff that has occurred in your day?

For me, it's my daughter. Even when she's a pain I adore her! We have such fun together and she makes me laugh. At almost 19 she still kisses me goodbye every morning and says "I love you Mama" For me that is bliss.

I also love my projects. My new felting adventure has lit me up and excited me SO much. I can hardly wait to sit down and sew!

And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk to blossom

I have a bunch of scripture verses I have collected over the years...all of them telling me how much God loves me, no matter what. That's pretty good stuff, let me tell ya!

Second would be music. Music does sooth & lift my soul. I can be tired or down & my favorite music perks me right up.

Brenda, I laughed at your post, because I have three older boys too... I TOTALLY relate! Your house sounds like ours! Ain't it a hoot!?

Rhonda

I will sing at the top of my lungs, and I will dance even if I'm the only one...

Definitely my family. My teenage boys can make me old before my time, but I still love them more than life itself. We are a family that loves to have fun and laugh. We seem to have more disasters (Lucille Ball style . . .) than most families, but I think it is because we live life to the extreme. We love making memories and doing fun things together.

The second place thing would be junking and recreating something from an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan. I adore redoing old furniture and giving my "primitive flavor" to all things wood.

Hugs & blessings,

Brenda

Being with my husband, family, and good friends.
Days spent geocaching and walking out in nature the whole day long.
The first true Spring day when it's so beautiful out it thrills your soul.
A beautiful fall day spent driving around leaf peeping and going to festivals.
Watching our garden grow.
Sitting outside reading a good book on a mild, sunny day.

I think mine is my needlework,
I do lots of different kinds
If it wasn't for doing them : I would be in a nut house
Also, I find reading my Bible, and praying
It seems to help me a lot
I find a peace which no where in my life I can
Also , my personal Cd player. music
My Dad died 3 years ago this Feb.
If it hadn't been for all of the above, I don't think
I could have made it
I had to watch my Dad die of cancer that was a really
ruff time.
I enjoyed reading all of yours too.
It is good that we are all unique in our way we find
something that sings to our souls.

Mine would be my family. I love spending time with them even if it means just watching a cartoon or listening to the school day tales they tell. Another would be mu husband. He keeps me sane when things get to me. Just hearing him say "I love you" everyday keeps my spirits up and makes me feel special. My final thing would be creating. It doesn't matter what it is. Creating things keeps me grounded. I love the feeling of having made something with my own hands. :)

It is being in nature. I have always been this way. In the middle of our forest or any really. If there is water there too I am in heaven.I just feel such a complete oneness with nature.

I love this thread - Here is mine

To crank up the music and sit at my spinning wheel - letting my heart and soul create thru my hands and feet..... It is like I am in another world and Nothing, I mean NOTHING can get to me............

Next is just spending time with any of my animals. Ten minutes can easily turn into three hours of snuggling, petting, kissing and soft talking. Life is the best when I am with my four legged friends....

Most definatley my kids, at night they have this ritual, we pray, then I kiss them goodnight, but my kisses have laughing syrum (sp).So when I go to kiss ds (he is 9 and is going thru some changes)his whole demeaner changes his mouth gets huge with laughter and so I stop and tell him last time! And then he will hold his lips together but it never fails! He laughs he cant help it, I have laughing juice on my lips.
Then I go to kiss DD (who is 7 with the personality of a saucy old lady) does the same thing only with a death grip on my neck.
Hearing them cackling makes my soul dance, watching the love in their eyes makes my soul dance, so my answer is THEM, my forever babies, they make my soul dance.
