Posted - Feb 08 2008 : 07:51:38 AM Okay I was thinking yesterday when I was walking to work....That we farmgirls could have our own "gang" sign!!LOL!!!! I live in an area where there are some gangs....my dd was sitting in the middle of a Jack in the Box drive thru between two rival gangs who were flashing gang signs at each other!!! Well, it got me to think- Hey my "homies" - what if we had a secret sign we could flash to farm girl friends!!!! How funny would that be!! Like the American sign language letter F or somehing!! And instead of calling each other Dawg... we could say-she's My Hen!!! Okay..Debi needs to get off the computer now!!!! LOL! Hugs!

Posted - Feb 08 2008 : 07:58:23 AM That's kind of funny, Debi....when I was a ballerina, during Sleeping Beauty, I was cast as the Golden Vine Fairy--if you know the story of Sleepin Beauty, there are 7-8 fairies who bring Aurora gifts...well, anyway, one of the girls had just gone to a dance competition in LA and had seen a number of gand affiliated things...so she decided we would be the "Cholos Fairies" and we all had hispanic names that mimicked our own...her name was Teresa, so she called herself Cervesa, I was Juana, but with a HEAVILY accented CGWahhh for the "J"...can't remember the rest cause that was 1991, but if you can imagine all of us standing in the wings in pointe shoes and tutus, making gang signs and speaking with heavy accents, well.....it reminded me of your thoughts.
