Hey Bridget, Have you considered Feng Shui? It has been helpful to me, a lot of it is practical. Get a round coffee table with a square couch, use mirrors to make the room look bigger, etc. It is not for the mentally ill, all the poison dart arrows of bad chi and such. I love it. It makes me feel like I'm doing voodoo by moving the couch around.
