Hello Farm Girls! On the Gee Ole Fashioned Letter Writing thread we have been talking about a round robin letter. I have had 1 farmgirl email me with her address but no one else. So I thought I would start another thread.
What is a round robin letter? I write a letter and send it to the second on the list. She reads my letter, writes a letter herself and sends both letters to the next person and so on. when it comes back to you- you have a whole stack of letters to read. you take your letter out and add back a new letter updating your last one. It is a lot of fun!

no I don't think so Amanda, I got the name of the next person in my email after I got the letter. I had the flu then a breakup then a new class.....I'm sorry I slacked.

I need to get the addresses into one email and send them to everyone. I will do that today. I promise. then everyone will know who to send the letters to.

Ok farm gals.. I have had a crazy few days.. I will be working on my letter this week and will send to the first person on the list. I will compile all of the addresses this week and email to everyone.
I am looking forward to reading all the letters when they make it back to me. So please try to get your letter and the package back out within a week. It will be about 4 months before it comes back my way. If you can get it back sooner than a week all the better.

The list is growing. I think we should cap it at 20- what do you all think? So here is how it will work. I will print out a list of addresses that I will email all of you. save it in a folder in your mail program so you don't lose it. When you get the letters you add your letter and send it to the address under yours. The letters are so fun if you haven't done them before.. You can write favorite recipes in your letter, a day in your life, etc.. if you want you can include items for the next person to get the letter: a teabag, garden seeds, bookmark, stickers.. but this isn't a requirement.. It gets even more fun when the letter comes around the second time because then you are replying to 20 other peoples letters :-) I love round robins.
So when we reach 20 I will cap it and get my letter out the door.
