Are you are hot tea drinker?
If so, what blend is your favorite?
How do you take it?
Do you have a special way you make it? You know, how long it steeps, how hot the water, a pot or a cup, that kind of thing.

I like the Republic of Tea Earl Greyer, the Wild Blueberry, Green Tea with Rose Petals..other than the blueberry I'm not too fond of fruity teas. Earl Grey is probably my favorite so far..the Roobios is very good.

The tea bag swap would be fun!!

Hot tea - my favorite brand is Republic of Tea. My current favorite is Wild Blueberry and my daily morning standby is British Breakfast Blend. Ice tea - I'm just a good old Lipton girl.

Frannie a tea swap sounds like fun....such a great idea!

I like the bag idea also. That way I can send one or two bags of each kind of tea I have and send a nice little variety.

Just came in and had a cuppa "Candy Cane Lane", mint and vanilla blend by Celestial Seasonings. Just wonderful. Sherry, thanks you for your idea. So much so that I just did it with my daughter, tea after school. LOVELY!
Now, about the swap. I don't know beans about doing a swap, but would be happy to figure it out. I'll start a thread for the swap. What do y'all think about doing a box of tea. Is that okay? Or should we stick with a bag? Let me know which way we should go. What else do I need to know before I start that new thread? Anything special?

I love tea! Frannie, what a wonderful idea. I would love to do a tea swap, too!

For Christmas this year, I received the most wonderful gift of hand-blended teas. What a delight they are. They have names like Black Current, Fruit Blend, Licorice Mint & Jamaican Rum Royal. It is a gift that I get to enjoy everyday.

Doesn't it just make you feel good to sip out of a pretty cup that matches your mood for the day? It is one of lifes simple pleasures.

I'm actually drinking some iced tea now. I really like sweet iced tea but when I drink it hot, usually on the weekend mornings, I drink Twinings Earl Grey. I don't mind tea bags, but my husband prefers loose leaf tea. As I'm trying not to drink pop for the next 40 days or so I believe I'll drink quite a bit of tea. I'm going to start to drink Chamomile tea before I go to bed at night. A tea bag swap would be fun!

I like most kinds of tea but have been drinking red raspberry tea lately to tone my uterus for the upcoming birth. I also like Uncle Lee's green tea, and LOVE the tea that you can buy in tins at Barnes and Noble...my favorite from there is Spring Cherry.

Tea swap cool! Tea in the morning, afternoon, before bed and if I wake in the middle of the night. Always have a cup with me after my morning coffee. When my DH and I visited with Frannie and Hank this summer she made the most delicious ice tea I have had. MY DH who is not a huge tea drinker love it too. He keeps asking me to make it. I even bought an Ice tea maker but can not replicate it. Frannie can you remember what you used? I love Teavana loose teas but will drink any brand. I really do not have a favorite but do like fruit blended green tea's, white's and Earl Grey creme. I also like Mac's ice tea during the summer with lot's of Lemon. To be honest since my daughter hooked me 2 years ago and my new boss is a tea fanatic, I really have gone hog wild with tea.

NUMI makes a wonderful vanilla rooibos tea. If you can't find it (most health food stores carry it) you could order online. Probably much cheaper that way.

A tea bag exchange sounds like a blast!

I like good old Red Rose tea with a spoonful of honey and a dollop of raw goats milk. Or cows milk from the store will do in a pinch. I also enjoy a home-grown blend of ChocolateMint and Peppermint. Yum :D

Mmm, I come to love Rooibos tea. My DB gave me a beautiful little personal teapot that has a strainer for the tea and holds 2 cups. I steep the tea and then add a little agave nectar and raw cream. It is SO yummy!

Frannie, I like that idea. Especially since I've never heard of many of the kinds listed here already. How do we do that?

ya' know . i've promised myself to not get into too many 'make-it' swaps for awhile so i can do some 'catching up' around here .. but wouldn't it be fun to have a 'tea bag' swap .. send our favorite tea to a few friends in exchange for their favs! and it would only cost us a one stamp envelope too!

strange .. but i LOVE McDonald's EXTRA LARGE iced tea .. almost scared to find out what 'brand' they use .. but i almost can't pass a mcDonald's without stopping for a tall glass! xo

Our current favorite is Irish Breakfast by Twinings. I always take mine plain, but the girls usually add sugar.
We've had "afternoon tea" ever since the oldest started kindergarten. She was always a bit hungry when she got home but it wasn't time for supper yet, so I started a little tea party with a light snack. We still do it most days 9 years later. Nice transition from school, getting homework done and getting conversations started.

I love deadlines. I especially like the whooshing sound they make as they go flying by. ~anon

I love Jasmine Green with blackberry honey. Blue Willow Darjeeling, PG Tips, Twinings Orange Pekoe, and any other black tea with milk and honey. My favorite cheap tea is Uncle Lee's. I usually make a two cup pot, steeping for ten minutes, but have been by the cup of late due to being an unorganized mover. I am very interested to try the blooming teas I have seen on the internet. They are beautiful, and I would like to have some for special occasions, like if I ever find another farmgirl for my chapter. I would love to throw a tea/garden party.

I like lots of different kinds of tea. My favorite, though, is Morroccan Mint Green Tea with a half teaspoon of honey. I have a cup of that every morning. I had to replace coffee with something when I gave it up.
