Posted - Feb 04 2008 : 11:11:23 PM I'm going to do a happy chicken dance for you. That has to be a major relief. One of my best friend's brothers served in Iraq and one of my old high school buddies just came back from Iraq a few months ago. It is very stressful. We'll keep counting down until his discharge.

Posted - Feb 04 2008 : 4:23:35 PM Oh Trish!! Thanks. I spent 6 1/2 years in the military, with 2 deployments of my own under my belt. I see a lot of marriages crumble because of the constant deployment, which is a major reason he is getting out!!! We are ready to begin our new life...YIPEEE!!!!!!
Cheers, Heather

Posted - Feb 04 2008 : 4:02:17 PM You poor girl! I am sorry he is away, but thankful that he went for us. I can't believe how seemingly strong you are. I don't support George Bush, but I do support our soldiers. Most of the people I know in the military are country kids that needed a way out. My dad is a Viet Nam vet who says that we need to do whatever we have to to end the war. He is one of the ones that got really messed up mentally from the war. Thanks for your sacrifice.
Trish
