sometimes i like 'statistics' .. (but not always!) .. i was looking at our member list and noticed that there are 'approximately' 50 farmgirls who have posted 1,000 times or more .. (with quite a few catching up to that number!)
about 5 of the 2004 girls are in that group .. about 10 who joined in 2007 have made over a thousand posts. about 15 are from 2005 and almost 20 from 2006. it looks like only about 5 of our friends who are over the thousand posting mark have not posted in quite awhile.
it is my hope that we all stay for as long as we can .. until we know it is time to walk down other paths. meanwhile, we have all been enriched by knowing each other. xo
i've always believed in a saying i once heard .. that some people come into our lives .. for awhile .. and some to stay a long time .. and some forever!

May 23, 2005- 2 days after returning from my second deployment from the Navy!! I think I may have lurked here before then though...I can't honestly remember how I came across this site.
Meeting so many wonderful people has been a hi-light, but also learning so much.

It's almost a year for me. I joined February 19 last year. This is a nice forum with very nice people and it's also been a learning experience for me. I've learned more about farming and farm-life and I find it interesting! It's a respectful site. I've seen other forums that people were out and out rude and abusive.

For me, May 2004. I had to go check the list to see when it was! Lots of posts under the bridge since then! Seems like there was only about 25-50 of us at that time, if that many.
One of my many favorite parts of being here, is having folks to talk with about the things that interest me. I have lots of friends in "real life" but most of them don't seem to share my love of needlework, and gardening and home stuff. I have learned so much here! And I have been able to share it with my daughter, and that has been really fun for me.

OH my gosh Alee!!! Me too! June of 2005!!!!! i can't believe its been that long! How weird for a girl who thought meeting people on the internet was just way too bizarre and icky- to end up having a new family on the internet!!! love you guys!!!

I love being able to log on, ask a question, and get 20 answers within a day! The forum is such a powerful resource and such positive energy! I can have the most frustrating day, come on here, and you ladies always give me a new perspective!
