Posted - Feb 04 2008 : 3:43:48 PM oh my! patricia .. old lady-ish they are NOT! they remind me of the fine stitchery done by ladies of yester-year .. but more VICTORIAN . not what we tend to think of as 'old-lady' today!

Posted - Feb 04 2008 : 07:53:50 AM I did on a crocheted purse several years back. I love them. I was told they were, "oldladyish." I think they are really beautiful. I have never washed them, I made rose type flowers,so I'm not sure how they will stand up. I recently ran across my needles I used for them, and have been thinking about what I can make with them in my new house. Maybe a sampler I can frame would be good for my country kitchen.
