I posted twice on my blog. The first one on there is of my four-legged babies out in the snow. Cody and Treu just love it. Girlie Girl basically has to be pushed outside.

The second one is a bunch of shots I took around town. The city is having a really hard time getting rid of the stuff. We only have one loader and one dump truck. But then our city crew is only two guys, anyway, so I guess we really couldn't use any more equipment! Oh, and if you can imagine - we got 10" more last night. So, I'll be joining dh outside shortly to help shovel.

Hope you all enjoy the snow!

You're a busy mom. Well, I hope you find what you're looking for. It doesn't rain much in the summer in this part of Idaho. I think they get more rain up north, though I don't think it's as much as Oregon or Washington. Alee would know more about that area.

8. 6 kiddos from 18 months to 15 years. We are looking to move the end of the summer- our lease is up. We were looking in Missouri but they don't get as much snow as Idaho. And Idaho looks more like my beloved Oregon. We lived there for 11 years. I miss it so. My dh hated the rain- thus we won't be moving back.

Lots of places like that here, Debra. Not so much in the valleys, but in the mountains you'll find it for that price. How big is your family?

I think we need to move to Idaho! We are looking for a house on a couple of acres with a large house to fit our large family- $900 or less. Any places like that in Idaho?
We love snow- but we only get a dusting here.

Blessings, Debra

JoAnn, we're at 4000 feet. Not really very high. Our average temp this year, I would guess, about 20 degrees. We've had many days below zero and only a few over 30. Alee, it is snowing here again too. Lots of worried folks are up on their roofs today trying to get the weight off before we get any more. Another neighbor asked dh to shovel off their roof this morning. Felicia is out earning money shoveling roofs, too.

Wow! More snow is falling here right now. I would take more picture, but my camera is out of batteries...*grumbles at batteries* I might have brought the recharger home from work, so I might be able to post some today or tomorrow!

I love the snow photos. Makes me wish we had a good snow here. We use to have them growing up but we haven't had a good snow that didn't melt the next day for a long time.

What has been the average temperature for ya'll up there?

That's a good bit of snow. What elevation are you at? We got a good bit up here. The other day I went down our path and my foot slipped off the pat and mygot stuck in the snow up to my knee. I couldn't pull it out. Finally I manage to get my foot out of my boot and then struggled to get my boot out. Needless to say I can't wait for this snow to melt. JoAnn
