I've known for a few weeks now that I am going to have to get a second job to make ends meet. The military isn't paying us and what I make isn't nearly enough. Well, today I was driving past the local farmers co-op and noticed a big yellow sign in the window "Taking Applications." I whipped into that parking lot so fast my kids thought something was wrong. I talked to the guy behind the counter, asked him what kind of help they were wanting, etc. and told him I'm a misplaced country girl who's raised goats, chickens, ducks, and turkeys (my kids had to make sure he knew I could handle dogs and cats too). They are looking mostly for counter help and some warehouse, but I could handle either. He gave me a application, that I will return as soon as I get off work Monday, and I got a really good feeling talking to him. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers, I believe I would really like this job.

lol! thanks, girls. if the owner asks, i'll just tell him to log on to this post and see all the girls who think this is "my" job! i really apreciate the support! they didn't tell me when i'd hear back, but i'm hoping it's soon. i'm going to have to put some other applications out too and i'd hate to loose this one because something else opened up sooner.
