gosh .. i LOVE fresh cracked pepper .. and just got one of those pepper mills that all you have to do is turn it upside down and it grinds it automatically .. all by itself! LOVE IT!!
they are not 'gadgets' .. but my most fav kitchen stuff is my antique cast iron collection!
AND .. i recently got a can opener that is VERY SAFE .. NO SHARP EDGES .. like that a lot too!
oh .. and i LOVE 'frothy' milk on my coffee and have a battery-operated 'whip' that makes it big and foamy .. that's a fun one!
how's about you?

Posted - Feb 02 2008 : 06:54:42 AM I don't know if this qualifies for a gadget, but I just bought a salad spinner, and LOVE it! Can whip up a Caesar salad in very little time. Every time I use it, I end up saying to my daughter, "best $20 I ever spent!"

Posted - Feb 02 2008 : 06:41:19 AM I guess my favorite kitchen gadget is one of those rubber grippy things to open jars with. I hate having to ask for help to open stuff.

Posted - Feb 02 2008 : 05:43:45 AM I have a weakness for kitchen gadgets...but my favorite line is Oxo. I seem to like everything they come out with. I like their designs and how easy they handle. Pretty clever!

Posted - Feb 02 2008 : 12:23:01 AM I love my french press. I use it for herbal teas and Faux Joe. I also love my old knife that was my grandmas. She got it originally when she worked in packing sheds when she was young. I use it for everything from peeling potatoes to butchering an elk...really.

Posted - Feb 02 2008 : 12:11:28 AM OH I love my can opener, you just sit it on top of the can and goes around and opens it, it runs on batteries, but last a long time. Yes Frannie I like froth on top of my coffee to and have one of those little mixer thingies, I thing its for mixing drinks. but it does a dandy job on the milk Shirley |
