OH .. there's that 'sychronicity' again! i was JUST saying that OUR TOWN is one of my most favorite PLAYS .. and while i'm sewing this evening .. what's on TV ... OUR TOWN! i just watched it .. it is wonderful .. a 1940's version.

it takes place at the turn of the century in a small town. HA! makes those nostalgic 50's we were all saying were so 'gentle' .. look absolutely decadent and 'modern'!

i loved the ending quote:

you have to LOVE LIFE to HAVE LIFE
you have to HAVE LIFE to LOVE LIFE

(it tells stories of families .. from cradle to grave) .. message being: LIFE IS SHORT .. LOVE IT .. BE HAPPY while you have it!
