Posted - Jan 30 2008 : 1:00:13 PM So I may sound old for 25 but I hate walking in the frigid cold....when weather is great I love it outside. I got a new dvd of hers walk 2 or 3 miles. Started yesterday. I'm hoping this will deter anymore winter weight. I get it on my butt thighs and lower tummy :( boo If you haven't used it check it out.

Posted - Feb 01 2008 : 06:08:16 AM i was at the mall and walking behind these two (a little on the hefty side) women who were talking about dieting. (i wasn't really paying attention but....) they started to talk about various friends of theirs and who else was on a diet. ...their friend sheila was on a diet too, but, "she didn't REALLY have to be on a STRICT diet because she 'could wear a bathing suit with no shame'! i just thought that was soooo funny! by the way, when i do the treadmill, (which i better start again!!) i love to watch the Food Network cooking shows! i must be a glutton for punishment! |

Posted - Jan 31 2008 : 06:58:57 AM i have the one mile and the two mile (they are two sep. walks but on the same dvd). i like doing them because they are mindless....i don't mean that in a negative way.....i can just do them without really having to concentrate and yet i'll still do them which is good. i was at bed/bath/beyond the other day and they have a beegees cd that has been put to a strong, steady beat....i was actually thinking of getting that to walk on the treadmill. you can listen to a sample of it at the store. |

Posted - Jan 31 2008 : 05:24:37 AM I have this one that 1 2 3 miles so i stop where i want. It shows you how far youve gone. You dont need a treadmill just a lil room to walk and move.

Posted - Jan 31 2008 : 03:01:57 AM I have thought about investing in one of her dvd's. Can I do it on my treadmill? I have to do something in the winter, it is soooo bleak right now in western NY! How long (minutes) are the dvd's? Angie.

Posted - Jan 30 2008 : 1:51:15 PM I use Leslie's videos for re-conditioning when I haven't exercised in a while. I have the Walkblaster and the 3 videos that go with it. I stay on that program for about two weeks and it usually gets me motivated to move on to more challenging workouts...can't beat it for times when I don't feel motivated to exercise. Leslie keeps it simple and totally acheivable! Good for you Bridget!
