It's about 11:00 am (est) and I am here in front of the computer, sippin coffee in my robe...NO SCHOOL!!! due to the high winds.

God knew I needed a mental health day...I'll finish up here, even switch a load of laundry and then head off to the sewing room. Nothing exciting just bliss to my soul.

So, what are you ladies up to today??

I need to fold Mount Laundry and then I am going to give myself the evening off for crafting! Nora woke me up at 3:30am and I have been using the time to clean up the house and to get laundry done. Now I am just hoping the garbage truck can make it in the snow tomorrow!!

Well, unfortunately, I had to go to work. It's been snowing all day and all I can do is watch it out my window:( But I get to leave an hour early today so I can go help dh shovel Rose's roof off (she's out of town). The weight of the snow is bowing her porch roof. So we'll be shoveling until dark. Then I'll get a fire going in her house to keep it warm enough for the night. Then I'll probably get my skis and gear out for tomorrow morning and go have fun in the snow before I go to the dentist.

To be honest, I'm going shack wacky here! We're in the middle of another snowstorm, so my plans to go window shopping flew out the door. I'm sick of cleaning house. Mine is spotless now anyway thanks to being cooped up in here. I've gone through my seed and gardening catalogs a million times & read the books I got for Christmas. I've been cooped in here for too long! On the bright side, I should get to enjoy this new snow. The temperatures will be in the 20's for a few days. Now I just hope the winds stay away!

Hi Bonnie,
Glad you got to enjoy the day off! I "had coffee" with a dollmaker friend on the phone this morning. Puttered around the house doing the usual chores. Now I am helping middle son type up his Eagle Scout project. Oops...and "chatting" with all of you in between! Our weather is frightful...I just want to stay inside.

Watching my sweet baby sleep, wondering when it will stop snowing, listening to the dog snore. Thinking about making bake-over mix for the first time. I just emailed my aunt with Denise's tag/quote. I miss her sooo much.

I've been on and off the computer today. I've had the stomach flu for the last few days and still tired from it along with a fever. We had bad storms last night to roll through here but I was sleeping through most of it. Not much else going on here today. I just wish it was spring time!!

At work taking a little break and enjoying the forums. Ran some errands for work earlier and got to go to Tractor Supply. I love how it smells in there! Had to buy a magazine while I was in there to read at lunch and I brought my Gurney's Seed Catalog along today to make final choices for my order. I'm enjoying it not being so stressful here at work today. I finished tax reports for one of the companies that my employer owns this morning, I had already completed the ones for his other companies. After I leave here today I'll go to my second job (another employer) and work on his tax information.

We had some pretty wicked wind last night too and severe thunderstorms. At one time last night there were about 40 counties under a warning at once in Central Kentucky.

We had the bad wind last night from 8 until 10 or 11. Lots of power outages and limbs down. It's just too cold here today. And we're going to have a fire drill shortly. :( We are supposed to walk three or four blocks away to a parking lot in 20 degree weather! I told my boss I'm going across the street, either to the local pub for an Irish coffee or to Thornton's quick stop for a plain coffee. LOL!

Same thing down here in MD. Listening to the local radio for the wind warnings (no snow though). Trying to keep warm, reading the forum, posting random replies and trying not to be sick again (stomach)

It's really windy here today too. I had to put some boxes out at the end of the driveway for the mailman... I hope they're still there!!

I'm babysitting as usual - but mostly being ignored because they're all too busy playing with each other!

I work for Verizon in a central office (land lines only). I basically work by myself...on occasion outside techs (those guys that work on poles, deal with customers, etc.) come in. Because of Fios being installed in the area (fiber optics for computer, phone and video) my work has slowed down.

lETS SEE, NO can't even see across the street today. Pretty much shut down around here with the weather. very very very windy and snow.
I put a chicken in the oven, its just about done, was hoping the power wouldn't go out while cooking, looks like its going to make it. Did all the usual work that seems to be here everyday. Started another embroidery. Watching the news to keep track of what is going on around the area because of the weather. Think I will start a new book that Miss Wilma said was a good read. Right now I think I will go find something good for lunch.

Being hungry (I forgot breakfast), working on an Answer in a lawsuit and reading/posting on the forums. I'm also awaiting a call from Avis rentals about why I was overcharged on a car that we rented a few weeks back...

I'm at work. It's slow. We had horrible winds too. Branches down and power out here and there. I'm drinking cold coffee with flavored cream. I just ate some peanuts from my boss' trip. I have magazines and catalogs beside me. I have to use up a gc to the most $ restaurant here before friday or it will expire. Thinking of the salads to get for the week. :)
