On my blog, I posted my list of things I wanted to do before I leave this world. I was just wondering if my fellow farmgirl friends had lists too? I think it would be fun to read what everyone else dreams of doing in the future!

actualy, this summer i made a list of things i wanted to do before i was 30. it seems i've gotten this far in life and have done so little of what i dreamed, that i needed to get a move on the fullness of living thing. this is my list...

1. Make and wear a perfect princess dress. When I was a little girl I always thought I'd grow up to be a princess and dance at a ball... well, I'm going to. Just haven't figgured out the details yet.

2. Start school. I've already done that! Yeah!

3. Take my children on a "grand explore" road trip. Going where we want to go and stoping when ever we want for what ever reason we want. We already kind of did this one too, but I'd like to do it just once with out any idea where we were going to wind up.

4. Have a plan and be working on financial stability.

5. Get a tattoo. I've always wanted one and now that I'm the boss I'm going to get one. Oh, yeah and re-pierce my nose.

Since I only have 2 years, that is probably enough, but I know there were more of them. I just don't have the paper I listed them on.

What we write today slipped into our souls some other day when we were alone and doing nothing.

This is actually a joint wish with my sis and DD. We would like a farm in the country, big enough for all three of us to live on and a place in the French countryside where we could go for months at a time and emerse ourselves in the life.

Sometimes I think I would also like to have a B & B on the Calif Coast or in the wine country. Like Heather's book store - where people come year after year, are on a first name basis and turn into really good friends.

I love dream'n

Tammy,
I noticed your love of castles at the top of your list. Thought I'd share this site with you & other farmgirls who dream of knights and english manor houses! Just start searching and you won't BELIEVE the photos of these homes and gardens. I could look for hours and have to pull myself away! Enjoy!

I like to make and sell aprons on the beach.

Buy a little cottage house and fix it up with a garden (something DS and I can grow together), pathways, pretty colors, simple beach/vintage/cowgirl style that I have found at flea markets, auctions, yard sales...

Ride a horse on the beaches of the Caribbean or anywhere somewhere tropical.

Restore or at least own a 1950's Chevy truck and paint her turqouise blue.

Take my son camping and learn to snowboard.

Cheers,
Heather

That's sounds like the ideal "to do", Heather. I'd definitely come visit your bookstore. I love books! :)

I'd love to open my own bookstore, I'd love to have customers that come weekly and that we know each other by name, I'll bring in a plate full of baked cookies every day and I'll have a store cat to keep me company on my slow days.

Tammy I have kind of a mental list. A few of my things are not really too important just simple things to do.
