i'm so excited about this .. i've probably mentioned it a thousand times already .. but i just ADORE antiquing road-trips with Kathy SUGARBUCKET! i think we're taking a more 'southern' route .. and mostly heading for her 'secret source' for fine, early primitives. hoping we'll do some 'junkin' on the way there and back too .. cuz' i'm mostly just looking for 'vintage fabrics' these days .. for my dollies .. don't really buy for the shoppe anymore .. i find most of what is out there isn't as good as what i already have .. well .. except for the stuff in ILLINOIS at kathy's friend's place (she doesn't have a shopppe .. she sells wholesale to dealers and collectors mostly). but .. it is BIG BUCKS .. and unless i find something i want to 'trade up' for .. i won't be buying those things. She's rented a HUGE cargo van .. she always buys tons of stuff! but then .. that is why i always say she has the BEST antiques shoppe in all of Kentucky!
Come visit me sometime and i'll take you there!
i'm taking my lap-top computer .. sooo . .i might have some time at night to get on .. t'other wise .. i'll yak at ya'll next tuesday!

Have fun in Illinois. I was born and raised there, and I know there is untapped territory for "treasure junkin" still there. I love to hunt those places down as we travel home to see relatives! What area of the state will you be in?
