I have always been a brunette, but I have just had my hair dyed blonde, and am loving it! I want to know the the most fun thing you did when you were blonde!

I'm a natural blonde but my hair has gotten a bit darker with age. I don't know if they have more fun or not because when I turned 30 I decided to dye my hair red/auburn. I'm kind of pale so it looked pretty natural. Most people who met me after I did it didn't know that I wasn't a 'real' redhead. One thing I did notice in my case.. people were more friendly to me as a redhead. It might be that it always perks me up when I first color it and puts me in a good mood. I should color my hair tonight as it's faded out now and I need a little boost at the moment.. physically and mentally.

i was born a blonde and yes it was white and like silk when i was little. i stayed very blonde until well in my late 30's. we then moved to florida and between going to the beach with the kids and out on the boat it continued to bleach out by the sun. but in my early 40's i actually had to go and have high-lights put in to even it up.....it would get so bleached out naturally that it looked like a bad dye job! so...i had to pay (i always said "i'm going to have more natural blonde put in my hair!") to have my hair look more natural!?? go figure that one out!! but if truth be told, i have to admit that i think that i did get away with a lot more than my dark-haired friends..... i wore a tight top and just flipped my long blonde hair back over my shoulders and even after knocking over 3 out of 4 cones pararell parking i still got my drivers license!!

Since my hair started getting darker, I've dyed it red (all except for a few years that were so stressed haircolor was the least of my worries). As a redhead, I get lots of attention. Men and women stop me in the grocery store to tell me how pretty my hair is. I have a friend who says that I am the only person she knows who wasn't born with their natural hair color. Usualy I am the only redhead around so it's kinda a novilty. The funny thing is, my stepdad is a true redhead and everybody just thinks he's my real daddy and I get it from him.

I had blonde hair as a child, and then like Jonni- It started getting darker. Only mine turned brunette before High School! So all through High School I bleached my hair blonde (poor hair!)

Then I have been on a roller coaster of hair colors, from blonde to purple (accident!!) to black to natural brunette to red to natural again.

I really loved being a red head and am thinking I am going to re-dye it again for St. Paddy's day this year!

Jonnie you are so lucky, I turned white at 35 didnt want to be old so fast so I went blond, then about 8 years ago I decided I wanted to be back dark brown so the day before I was leaving for a Texas trip I went dark brown only it was DARK brown, no amount of washing helped, I went crying to Sterling and said I look just like Elvira, well I had to go on to Texas but wore a hat the whole time, then when I got home I did the show in Burlington , my best friend didnt know me and thought Sterl was there with another woman, My grandchildren didnt know me and the dogs barked at me I made a fast trip to Glasgow, well they started bleaching and told me not to look in the mirrow, of course I did, I am telling you a carrot couldnt have been more orange , I just started bawling again , but it came out good so I learned another hard lesson, I will just stay blonde I have no desire to look like Elvira or a halloween treat

I too was a natural white blond until I turned about 18, then it got a little darker and now I'm a true brunette (with some honey highlights)...I would agree that blondes have more fun. Boy howdy did I pick up men, boys, you name it-all over the continent. I'm sure it was a combination of the waist length blonde hair that I wore down and wavy like a renaissance painter's model, and the teeny tiny size 0 I was then. Seemed like British men really liked blondes...on second thought, British men just like women.

I feel somewhat non-descript now being a brunette, but I'm loathe to change it because at 34, I still don't have any gray and my hair is really pretty (for brown )

Nah, RedHeads Rock! Nothing against the blondes at all. But all my life I've had turd brown (are we allowed to say that word here?) hair. I decided to try out some more red highlights that were natural, liked it then moved on to move adventurous red colours! Strangers, both men and women would WoW at my hair! When people would ask if it was natural, I would reply "Sure, naturally number 137! ;)

I love deadlines. I especially like the whooshing sound they make as they go flying by. ~anon

btw...i have learned to behave myself a bit better. i don't know if that was due to growing up or the fact my hair started to get darker.

Oh, my! That could be scary! I was a blond until I was in my teens. Are we talking about wild bad girl things like smoking so much pot I couldn't stop laughing and kept falling out of my chair at a restraunt or using food dye to paint pink streaks in my pony tail?

oh chile .. i started out a 'white-blonde' as a child .. my hair darkened over the years .. and there were times i liked it .. THEN .. i went BLONDE (as in 'ho-yaller'!!) LOVED IT!!! i've been every shade in the rainbow .. but keep coming back to reds and BLONDES!

o.k. .. my fav 'blonde-story'. i was a brunette .. and interviewed for a dream job at the Department of Justice (and for a very handsome boss too i might add!) I GOT THE JOB!! (oh .. i also wore my 'interview suit' to the interview and had my hair in a 'responsible' doooo!)

it was two weeks before i started .. well, i went back PLATINUM BLONDE (and my hair was LONG and BUSHY) and i wore a sexy little dress on my first day ... my new boss's eyes about popped out of his head! he could not believe i was the same person! (but he did indeed LIKE the 'new' look!) OH YEAH! i have stories about THAT boss!!! xoxo

ahhhhhhhhh costumes!
