OH GURLZ .. if you want to see MAGNIFICENT primitive-style dolls .. go to this site: www.cozy.org/pics/pringle

Helen Pringle is an incredibly sweet woman that i met many years ago .. when i first entered the world of 'doll making' .. i met her in Utah at a major doll conference (.. i took classes from elinor peace bailey during that conference .. helen's classes filled up fast and you needed to do some 'pre-sewing' before you came) .. but i was CONSTANTLY in her classroom ooooohing and aaaaaahing over her doll-making style and abilities.

at the time, i realized i wanted to go back home and start a 'cloth doll making club' .. and that precious helen offered to come teach FOR FREE! it took me a few months to start the club and helen's husband got very ill and she discontinued all travelling.

her dolls are somewhat 'izannah walker' in style .. but are some of the most wonderful i have ever seen!

i don't even know what they would cost today .. at the time .. they were few and far between available and ranged between $600. to over a thousand! they are wonderful! xo
