took a few photos of the 'stranger bathroom' (guest bathroom) .. this is one of the two rooms that is 'prissy' here in these olde cabins .. and these are just the 'tip of the iceberg' when it comes to treasures! lordy! i have a whole 'schoolhouse' loaded with boxes and boxes and boxes of more ... ya'll have to come visit when the weather gets warm and help me go through these wonderfuls! i WILL get this done and will offer up MUCH of these dainties (and prims too) for adoption .. i ADORE them and they have many memories attached .. but there just is not room in these teeeeensy little cabins for them .. sooo .. nothing makes me happier than to have them continue their life with 'true friends'. xo

thi is 'nosepicker' .. she gives me the giggles everytime i look at her sitting on her very own potty .. with her 'drawers' down around her ankles and her finger up her nose!

this wonderful wonderful picture .. i got it in OREGON when i visited there to talk to a gathering of primitive loving girls on 'primitive dollmaking' and 'style' .. i met a wonderful dollmaker Christen LaFever who invited a bunch of us to her beautiful home filled with whimsy. She told us a sad story that had us all in tears .. and when i went antiquing and found this picture .. i SWEAR .. it was the 'story of it'!! (come visit me and i'll tell you the tale that Christene shared with us).

my precious JENNIE-CATHERINE-ANGEL-FAIRIE .. our grand-daughter (who is now 21 years old) .. i made her little dress and her dolly .. i made about 20 outfits for this dolly .. and we would always go shopping for shoes, purses and other accessories for her dolly .. and YEP! i still have the dolly and all her clothes packed away (in that big SCHOOLHOUSE)!

this lovely, lovely wooden dolly was found in my MAILBOX one day .. a surprize gift to me from a friend who had visited PARIS .. she had been coming to my 'women's comforts' tea parties and craft classes .. and there was a note that said .. your tea party gatherings for women 'saved my life' .. and when she saw this dolly .. she thought of me. oh gosh! we just never know how we will touch the lives of others!

a few of the ba-jillion treasures i have collected over the years. i have another lovely story of my darling daughter, wednesday (pictured in her 'pink princess' dress) when she was about 7 .. she is now 37! our lives are woven from stories and the memories make the strength of it!

oh momma's .. hang on to the precious things in your lives!

more dainties .. the little picture of the 'joan walsh anglund' drawing .. i copied from one of her books .. they are soooooo endearing! and i have a large collection of them (in the schoolhouse) .. i also copied a one of her drawings of three little children (a boy and two girls .. representing my brother, sister and me) that ANGLUND drew .. framed it and gifted it to my 'nannie' who lovingly gave up her own life of marriage and children to raise us). Under the children .. i wrote: "i did not hear the words you said .. instead i heard the love".

i have lots more pictures .. but will probably post them on my FREEDOM VALLEY FARM gathering site (blog) .. i'll let you know when i've got them up there for you to see! xo, frannie

miz joy .. that will be YOUR potty when you visit mid-february! .. thanks nancy . .it was a good price .. found another one since then .. has a 'chunk' missing on the end .. sooo .. i'm thinking upon a really neat-o PRIM way to bring it back to life. of course, i've never minded old treasures with 'marks of aging' on them .. much like the wonderful deep lines on an older person's face! debi darlin' .. you jus' let me know when you can head this-away .. the door is ALWAYS open and burnt cookies are usually baking in the oven! bridget .. i do occasionally do some 'tea parties' here in kentucky .. but never as a 'biznezz' any more .. only do them as a 'contribution' in some way to my community. a little 'pay it forward'.

nosepicker is indeed a SCREAM! i've been meaning to make some 'sisters' for her .. but just haven't yet. just watched a movie on tv and cut out 20 more dolly bodies! now i gotta' sew 'em up .. stain 'em .. stuff 'em and bring them to life!

it's COLD with a smattering of snowflakes here in central kentucky today! fire in the fireplace .. GREAT day to be creative! xo

DARN Frannie! I love the pics! Love the treasures and memories with them! That's so cool about the lady that brought you that from Paris. I love stories like that. You do tea parties? I wanted to start that here. I absolutely love "nosepicker"!!!
