I am finally getting that old thrifting urge back again. I stopped by one shop today and found some great things which I posted on my Strawberry Hills blog. It boggles the mind what people don't want--maybe they have no one to pass things down too. Well I guess they are passing them my way. Yippee! MB

Oh Mary Beth, so sorry about the rack, I can't tell you how many times I have lost something I liked so much due to something like that especially when my boys were at that age where they loved to throw a baseball in the house.

Mary Beth,
So sorry about he rack falling...and breaking all your lovely treasures. Not nice at all.
I saw your photo of your precious cookbook...fairly sure I have that edition in a box of cookbooks either here or at the storage. When I find it, I will be sure to head it in your direction. I'll remember the lattice top pie on the cover. Yes, it's showing how much it's loved and used..the best kind of cookbook!
Do hope your tomorrow is better, with no mishaps to ruin your day. You will do a mosaic collage with the broken pieces, right?
Hugs to you,
Ronna
