Yes it was thrift day again. Great weather too. 60 out. Pretty strange for around here. Anyway, I got a really pretty quilt, a few nice books and a pretty candle holder. I also posted a better picture of the CROW and PILLOW that Lea made for me. They didn't show up to good in the picture with the rocker yesterday.
Can't belive this weather, got a nice steak to cook on the grill, and I made a choc. cake. I have the feeling some of the kids will be showing up.
Been working on an embroidery, going to try and tea stain it when its done. Hope I don't ruin it. Started reading RHETT, YOU KNOW OF GONE WITH THE WIND? So far its pretty good. Got it for Christmas.

Miss Wilma,
Bring Hannah and her food along. I bet you could both give me a lesson in junking! Got my jacket on and looking out the door for you.

The quilt is beautiful. I don't usually look at them--and I don't know why. I did find some books today and a few other things so I will post them later. Are we having fun??? YES! MB

Hi Hannah, Yes seem to have a lot of extra energy, what is up with that?
Janice isn't that little magnifying glass so cute? I didn't even know what is was until my friend told me. Never know what will turn up at the thrift.

Well Nancy Jo I guess we are on the same page today, I have a lemon herbed chicken ready to roast and making huge, chocolate chip cookies. I too, except kids to show up. Can't cook out though, big storm due here soon. May even roast chicken soon in case power goes out.
Just finished putting Chrismtas dec. away today, we thought we wanted them out most of the winter but then 'winter never came'!! I was ready to clean. But I'll be ready for next year, just planted the Spruce Tree seeds I got in my stocking at Christmas! This year we almost had a primitive artificial tree and the kids were so upset...guess they are making sure we don't have that thought again.
But doesn't this weather just make you go ninety miles an hour?
Keep enjoying your day,
Hannah Jo

Once again, you show us why you are the "Queen of Thrifting", Nancy Jo. That quilt is a beauty. You did great. ;) I like everything you got. But the little turtle magnifying glass is my favorite thing of all your treasures. He's a cutie!
