Posted - Jan 06 2008 : 11:07:24 AM I'm so happy that I didn't sell my old Shirley Temple doll trunk in the antique mall! Dolly me(who shall be named 'Trixie' from now on ) fits in there so nicely! And look at the cute knit hat Jonni made for me! I look so much like the 70's me. I used to braid my hair when I washed it and then take it down when it dried and it looked just like that! And I found the little Boyd's bear twig chair in a thrift store. I just need other outfits to hang on all my little hangers!

Posted - Jan 08 2008 : 12:24:13 PM That little hat is just so cute! When the dolls of Mary Jane & Meg made a stop at my house, I was amazed with how cute they were. Luzy does a great job with the dolls.

Posted - Jan 08 2008 : 11:54:24 AM Miss Wilma - I sent your package out yesterday. You should get it this week. I sent it priority. I hope the toys still make their noises when they get to you. When the nice young man at the post office asked me if there was anything perishable, hazardous, etc.,etc. in there I said 'no'. And then he picked it up and it 'mooed'! LOL The post office folks probably talk about me a lot.
And to Miss Wilma and Linda: Since I can't sew, I wasn't sure what to measure, so I measured most everything. head circ. - 7" height - 17 1/2" waist to bottom of feet - 10" waist - 8" pants - 7 1'2" from top to cuff bottom 4" fattest part of arm(she has fat arms, just like me! :D 5 1/2" fattest part of leg circ.(even more like me) 8"neckline on blouse(3/4"overlap from top snap to end of fabric) arm-from bottom of collar to end of cuff-5 1/2" apron-7" top to bottom.

Posted - Jan 07 2008 : 1:56:50 PM How adorable!!! That hat just totally suits her! I'm so excited about her travel trunk and everything...I've got to come up with more knit items.
And, I love that she can sit in a Boyd's Bear chair--what a hoot!
