I am so disappointed right now. This is more on the "Get back to College" saga.

It looks like the college did not support my petition. The will let me come back for summer session, but by that time I will be moving. Thanks for all the support.

This summer? I hope Felicia and I can make it up there before you leave so we can meet face to face. She wants to come up during the spring break here, but I don't know yet if we'll have the money to travel by then. I hope we don't get there too late to meet!

Thanks everyone!

I am working on appealing the appeal. It is such a crazy process.

Rebekka- Yes, I am moving :( I will be so sad to leave all my wonderful in-person farmgirl friends, but at least we have this amazing forum to help keep us in contact, right? I am moving to Billings, MT unless something drastic changes this summer. *hugs*

MOVING???? When, where? Are you leaving Moscow? I feel so confused;#

You are a delight and any school that is not ready for you should not have your hard earned money! Just enjoy this little respite, extended as it is, as a time to focus on your sweet family. Other things will quickly fill the time school would have taken up and before you know it you will be behind a desk again;)

LOVE LOVE LOVE- Rebekka

Oh Alee!! I am so sorry!! But I know you are strong willed and resourceful and you will find a way. Are you doing online or in class? I did all of my Associates through www.dcccd.edu. The school is pretty good and the classes are good. You might need a proctor for some classes, others, not. They are a credialed, valid college and most of their courses tranfer over to bigger 4 year schools. I stayed in Texas to do all of mine, but just look on their website to see what classes correspond for transfer to another school.

Best of luck and keep us posted!!

Cheers,
Heather

I'm sorry to hear about their decision Alee. I hope that you are able to transfer your credits when you move. Most colleges will accept transfer credits. Many hugs to you!!

Hey, Alee, I'm sorry to hear that things aren't going well. I agree with Mary Jane; you'll find a way. I know how hard it is to go to school while raising a family. Just consider this a temporary set back. It may take you longer to accomplish your goals, but you'll still get it done. Try not to fret too much. It will work out.

oh alee, i, too, am so sorry for your disappointment. If this info can be of help, i want to let you know that I am taking online classes with www.ed2go.com and you can too. i found out about this great online education opportunity through an instructor that i met at a garden club meeting. True story. i went online and checked it out and have taken several classes and start a new one in two weeks. i can do it through my local college or on my own. The other students in my classes have been from all over the united states and canada. I really love this and you might too. who knows?
much love and hope to you, karen

That is very frustrating. Where are you moving? Back to Wyoming, or someplace new? Is there a college you can transfer your credits to in the new location?

Oh, Alee. I'm so sorry--it's terrible to fly high one minute only to have the wind taken out of your sails...I know I'm mixing my metaphors, but what I mean is...I'm really sorry.

Oh Alee, what a disappointment! Is there any appeal process?
