Janice? Janice? Where are you? I know you were taking some time at the farm, but REALLY, this is just too much

I have many questions about your holiday, but mostly about how psyched your friend was to receive a doll in her image!!!!???? She just totally fell over, right?

I also saw him briefly when I worked on his father's senate campaign. Nicky didn't win, but it was sure fun to hear "I think George is coming into town for such and such...". When he did, we didn't see much of him because it was a fund raising dinner and they talked a lot about Darfur, and he talked a lot about his dad, but it was neat to be across the hotel ballroom from him!

Oh man, I'd have fallen over myself if I'd seen George in person...then or now.

Now you know why my husband wouldn't want to name a boy Jude, Jo

It's the truth, Jessica, too bad my man is a transplant, and Jude, well, he's just about as British as you can get. I used to see George's Uncle George at the racetrack when I was small. He was a good friend of my daddy's and we went to the funeral and there was George. He wasn't out of college yet, but hubba hubba!!!

You gals are cracking me up...you notice that the greatest looking fellers come from Kentucky? (George Clooney, Johnny Depp, etc). Glad to see you back on Janice!

Hi FarmGirls! I am new to this, just signed up, and I wanted to say Hello! I have been reading all of you for the longest time and thought I would sign up for the New Year. I am married to a great guy, have two grown kids (son and daughter) and we are expecting our new little Grand Baby at the end of June. I may have gray hair, but I'm young at heart-right where it counts!!!

Well my dh has Heidi Klum and Angelina so it's only fair. ;-) Oh, I liked Jude in Closer too, although I didn't like the character he played much.

Oh. Tell me. Let's see there was Cold Mountain (he's even pretty dirty and bleeding) and there was Closer. Oh. Glasses in that one too, and HOT. And then there was an old movie where he plays some russian soldier (Oh--Enemy at the Gates) with one of the Fienne's brothers and Rachel Weisz and yeah. Hot then, too. My dh has Scarlett Johansen, I have Jude.

Hi Janice, Jonni, Tina and everyone. I just had to agree with you Jonni on Jude Law. He was such a cutie in that movie 'The Holiday'! I've got that one and I don't think I've seen a cuter guy in glasses, well not counting my dh. hehe

I'm so happy to hear that you had a lovely holiday! It IS nice just to take time for yourself, and I'm glad to hear that you did--how cool that you dig Jus's music! That song is one of my favorites, too. I love I know what you need...makes me want to shimmy!!! We had a super holiday--the long Christmas weekend was a little too hectic for my tastes, but we got in a few good walks with the pups, and New Year's weekend was muuuuch slower, and a lot of fun. Watched a bunch of movies, and it's official, I'm starting the New Year off in love with Jude Law, in case anyone was wondering :)

Hi, Jonni! Hi, Tina! I'm baaacckk! And the college doesn't even start until Jan. 14. :( I've been sitting at my desk trying to use my new digital camera. I want to post some photos of some antique paper dolls and get help/opinions about framing them. But I can't seem to get my photos on photobucket. It keeps throwing me into an old account. When I first tried to post pics, I set up an account. Then, much later, when I tried again, I ended up setting up a new account, which I've used ever since. Now I can't get to it and I'm FRUSTRATED! I didn't get to the farm - my dh couldn't take any time off....grrrrr. But it was nice just getting to read a book or two and just hang out with the animals! Jonni - Your dh and his group are still the featured cd in my car. :) Salt of the Earth...love that song. Hope you had a great holiday! You too, Tina! :)

Easy to do...I sent both of them packages this season (Bev was my secret santa, and Janice is just a cool gal to send stuff to and we frequently), so I was bound and determined not to mix it all up!!!! I think I'm cured now :)

Bev just posted a link to her blog about a video of her new goats(in the barnyard buddies section). She also is having surgery today on her hand. So that's probably why you haven't seen her around. She also posts frequently over on the apron post in the stitching room.
