You probably can tell I got to the thrift today. Got some cute things and I especially like my iron candle holder. Also got a book by 'ANNE MORROW LINDBERGH" that I didn't know about, written in 1938. The tea for one set is different then most I have seen, and it was only 1.49. The Sleigh was just to nice to leave there. It will maybe look cute in my upstairs room. The red check kitchen towels were new.

Miss Wilma,
I went out in seach on Wed. of this week. posted the finds on my site. I could go out today, at least I feel LIKE GOING. But I have a turkey to put in the oven and a choc cake to bake, so guess I should stay home today, so unless Hazel come to help me I think I will be right here all day. So if you want to stop by for turkey dinner come on over.

You know Nancy I find the same thing I can always find a bargain and others around me come out empty handed, Guess I will be looking for lots of bargains now, but you know fancy clothes and things have never been a top of the list thing for me I will look for bargains and save my real money for future investments I had some good teachers in this also I have a motto never buy any thing that I cant resale and make a profit, excluding food and that is a big waste in my opinion becaus all I see from food is extra pounds and the morning after, we go out to eat rarely because we had rather have our food and who wants to get ready and drive 15 miles for a few min eating.

I think we must have one of the best thrift stores around. I never come home empty handed. But I have friends that go in and they say they can't find a thing, so I don't get it.I have to put things back.

How do you do it? You always find the most wonderful things. I'm with Miss Wilma ~ I love virtual shopping with you! I think that candle holder is my favorite find this time. What lovely romantic lighting that will be!

Blessings, Lea

Wonderful stuff, Nancy Jo. I gotta back in the thrifting groove. What is the matter with me? I need to sit down with you and have a cup of coffee. MB

Miss Wilma,
I don't think the sleigh is old, just cute. Yes Janice its big enough for a doll, or perhaps a bear? Unless I can get BOTH Jack and Dave in there, I wouldn't hear the end of it. So maybe a doll is a better idea. Right now its sitting by the fireplace and looking pretty good.

Great stuff, as always, Nancy Jo. Is the little sled big enough to hold a doll? That would look really cute. That hanging candle holder is really nifty, too.

That iron hanging candle holder is gorgeous. I love iron stuff like that and what a bargain too! I got a iron fruit basket this Christmas I've put on my dining room table.
