Took a few pictures down in my sewing room. Wanted to show Mary Beth and Lea where I put the stars and the Amish people.
That room down there is pretty good size, it used to be kind of the family room when the kids lived at home. Now its mostly my stuff, plus when the little ones are here they play in there. When they leave and go home it doesn't look like the same room anymore, it looks like a messy romper room. I'll take pictures of the other side of the room sometime soon. You do want to see it right? Poor things, pretty soon I will be making you look at my closets.

NancyJo,
That caned rocker looks identical to the one my grandmother had. I think hers was a bit lighter in color but the style is the same. My sister has the rocker now.

Thankyou Jessica,
Hope you get your rocking chair. Check out the thrift stores and garage sales. Bet you will find one. Maybe Miss Wilma can help you find one. Everyone should have a least one rocking chair, it should be a law.

Nancy Jo - your house is just a delight with all your furnishings. I've bookmarked your little blog to keep up with everything. I saw the post on the rocking chairs and it brings back so many great memories sitting on the front porch of my grandparents house and rocking in their ole chair. Hopefully later this year I'll get myself a rocking chair. :)

I just love it, Nancy Jo. Your sewing room has so many inspiring colors & textures on that shelf. Just beautiful! I like what you did with the spools. I think I'm going to string some of mine up as well. I was so proud to see the stars in that very special room. Just made my day!

P.S. I'd love to see your closets! LOL

Blessings, Lea

It looks so cozy and inviting Nancy Jo. I would love to see other pics of your house when you feel like sharing. Your collectibles are great and you have such a knack for displaying them.

YeaH! were get to see your fabric stash! LOL! Very nice decorated. I would not show mine its packed so tight you can not move. I actually sew at the dining room table. Sewing room strictly storeage, now. When we move to our retirement area, I will have a huge place.
