Well, Miss Wilma, I finally figured out how to get my new camera to let me post a pic of the toys. Here they are. If you think they look like what you have in mind and you want them, send me your mailing address and I'll put them all in a little box and send them your way! :D

Janice - I found the cow!!! holy cow..haha. I have sat and looked for it online and found it. It was made by Kenner and was called "Milky the Marvelous Milk Cow. I'm giggling here with the excitement that I actually found it online.

Here is one on Ebay I just found:

I never saw anything like that, Jess. But the thought of it made me laugh! Sounds like way more fun to me than a Betsy Wetsy doll!

Wilma and I had this conversation over Christmas about the little cow noise maker. I remember playing with them when I was a wee little Jess. Cracker Barrel doesn't carry them anymore.

Now did you ya'll ever play or see the plastic cow that you could "milk"? Wilma and my grandma still has one that we use to play with when we were younger. It was this pretty good size plastic cow and had udders that you could milk the cow. I can't remember how the water got in it. If you tilted its head, it would give out a big long "moooooo."

Those were the days...when the simplest things made your imagination run wild!

Oh, Miss Wilma. I'd be just happy to send them to you and your dd. I remember them from when I was small, too. I'd a whole lot rather give them to a fellow farmgirl friend than sell them, or anything else to a stranger. If I put anything this small in an antique mall, someone would steal it. I'm getting discouraged about my mall experience(can you tell?). I'm real sure that 35 years ago, when I bought them for myself, that I probably paid pocket change for them. I was poor then, too! LOL I'll try to post a pic later today and if you want them, just email me your address and I'll put them in a little box and get them out tomorrow. Friday is my day off, and I'll just walk to the Post Office.

Miss Wilma - did you ever find this toy? I've got three of these things - one with a cow, one with a goat and a third one with a little bird on it. They are pretty old(like me-LOL). I've probably had them for 35 years. I took a photo last night with my new digital camera, but I'm having trouble with photobucket and I'm going to try again today to get some pictures posted. If you havent' found one, I'll try to get my pic in this thread for you.
