In my search for a piesafe for my MIL, I ran across this great little shop near Waynesville, Ohio (in between Cincy and Columbus, on I-71)called Fresh Eggs. Such a great sampling of furnishings--all primitive and gorgeous. Right up Freedom Farm's Alley!!!!!

If only I could fit that corner cabinet shown in my little cottage bungalow!!!!

Let's see if we can work it. We'd love to come out and see you, and your (sssshhh! goats and dogs) and your place. We can definitely do some shopping.....

The trip to Augusta was great--such a neat little town, too bad nothing is really shakin' there. They were all dolled up for Christmas and we were the only folks in town! That shearling vest I had on?? Well, the old man and woman who made it in 1991 for me were STILL in business, though she's been ill and doesn't make the coats anymore. I went to see them and she got all teary about my vest. It was cute. I also bought a beautiful belt for Justin for Christmas, but I've put it up somewhere "safe" and I can't freakin' find it!!!!!

How about you, what did you do the rest of the day?

That would be great!! If you guys would want to come out here; I'll gladly drive out there. We can hit some Amish stores if you want also(although as Linda said, some of them are pretty commercial now)I still like going out there though; the area is beautiful.
I forgot to ask you how your jaunt to Augusta was the other day??
Any goodies??

I've found SEVERAL, but the thing about putting someone in charge of finding one is that you have to confer with all the "indians"....I've only been doing this for 3 days and I'm tired of phone tag

I would love to have the guys number, but maybe we could do it together? I don't have to have it until January 23, so we've got a little time, anyhow.

What do you think? Would you be up for a trip out there between now and the First of the new Year?

Did you find one yet?? There is a really neat place out in Adams Cty(I think I told you & hubby about it); this guy has a humongous barn filled w/goodies & a few other barns as well. Email me if you want his #; I think I have his card somewhere.
