Posted - Dec 05 2007 : 2:59:54 PM Been busy today, took my daughter to work, did some shopping, came home and decorated the tree. Richard put it up last night. Then picked my daughter up for work and took her shopping, which means I had to get more things. yipes! Then placed an order on line for clothes for my oldest Grand daughter. They have to come from Hollister or Abercrombie. She is our most expensive child, always has been. But she is worth it. Took a couple pictures of the tree. can't figure out the flash thing when you take a picture with the tree lights. So one is with the flash and one is without. But the lights are on the tree both times. I should go to photography school, I think my camera does a lot of things I know nothing about, at least according to all the extra buttons that are there that I don't use. Nancy Jo

Posted - Dec 06 2007 : 09:58:12 AM I like the one with the flash, cause I can see your ornaments better. And they are very cute, too. Thanks for sharing!

Posted - Dec 06 2007 : 07:28:13 AM I bet someone is reproducing those lights. I still have a couple of strings I found in a local hardware store that went out of business. My dh and I hotly debate this light issue every year - I'm traditional and he likes teeny tiny lights, usually all the same color. I'm eight years older than he is, and sometimes the cultural/age divide rears it's ugly head.....he doesn't even remember Howdy Doody - :(

Posted - Dec 06 2007 : 06:26:48 AM The photo with the lights showing is my favorite, too. Makes me want to watch 'Miracle on 34th. St.' and drink a cup of hot chocolate. :D My favorite lights from childhood are those 'bubble' lights-I was always fascinated by those things.

I know, I am a bad, bad blogger.
Oh, it is sweet of you to ask. I had the biopsy and I do have a fatty liver but nothing worse. I need to go back and have my blood work done next week to make sure nothing has changed. I have also been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia which explains a lot but there isn't a lot I can do about it. I keep perking along.
