I got the sweetest thing in a birthday surprize box from my friend Sharon (our own farmgirl Sleepless Reader) recently...it is a sweet little journal with homemade looking paper pages. I am using it as a gratitude journal...(in the each other section of the merit badges it is one of the requirements..and that was my incentive to start it)something I have meant to do for a long time. I have so much to be thankful for. I have been very very blessed in so many ways. I am writing something different that I am grateful for each day. Being naturally sort chatty I end up with about a paragraph each time.
I plan to get some cute little small journals and decorate them for gifts for friends...we all need to be thankful for our little joys.
I am thankful for all of you!!

I have had a gratitude/prayer journal for awhile now. It is so wonderful to look back a year or two, and see how God has worked in your life, not only in thankfulness, but also in prayers answered, which brings its own type of gratitude.

Keep those journals, gals. They become treasures.

As usual, I agree with Kay. What a great idea to give to friends! Let's spread this "attitude of gratitude" thing around!

What a wonderful idea, Jenny! It reminds me to have my own gratitude journal and would be great for gifts. We are so often bombarded with negativity from the world that it's a way to remember how blessed we truly are and to keep a positive outlook on things.
