Posted - Nov 26 2007 : 7:10:12 PM Well i do suppose you didn't even know I was gone. As sue said my computer was offline, actually my computer was so full of viruses the service tech said DON'T EVEN TURN IT ON'. So with the funeral and then the bad computer, I took off for Eastern Washington and went to my daughters and stayed there for a few days. (I will post pictures on my blog in a few). Today I finally got the computer scoured out and the techie said it was good to go. No viruses so I am not passing anything on. Whew!! So if I have forgotten anything or one let me know. I did do the cookie cutter swap and am going to start Christmas Cards so if I've forgotten anything please e-mail me. Thanks to all for the kind words and prayers. I appreciate you all so much. I will be ok. MB

Posted - Nov 27 2007 : 6:19:58 PM Marybeth..strange that we are complete strangers and yet you have been on my mind a great deal. The last sentence in your post "I will be ok." brought me to tears. I believe that to be true for you and for most things in life because the alternative, "I will not be ok" seems incomprehensible to me. I know people get to that place of hopelessness where no matter what happens they see themselves as never being ok and I wonder what has brought them there. I think it takes such courage to pause and say, "I will be ok". I hope you have found comfort here in all these amazing women, some known and unknown and yet all friends. Here's celebrating you, your family and the spirit of your husband. In warm friendship, Julia Hayes

Posted - Nov 27 2007 : 07:26:14 AM So good to see you posting again; even a computer virus can't keep a farm gal down for long! I am glad you were able to spend some time with your daughter, too... see, a little something good came out of the techno-adversity. Heartfelt hugs, Nance |
