This morning I read in our local news paper about this
You order online what you want and then go to the store like Sears and so forth
There is a store person who comes and hands you what you ordered on line.
This might be a good thing?
As I cannot walk very far without my feet and body getting numb
also older people would appreicate this service.

I don't even try a drink anymore. One thing is we have both had alochics in our families
Not a good thing
Seems like things are getting werider and weider
Always something odd popping up that is suppose to save time and money
What are we all going to do with all that time and money we are suppose to be saving.? Ha pinkroses |

We have had drive thru liquor stores in Australia for as long as I remember. Can't belive it isn't as common over there. I guess Australians have got a reputation for being heavy drinkers. Now I know why! I personaly have never used one as I do not drink. But over here every town has at least one. We refer to them as bottle'os. Every thing in OZ has to have a slang name.

Sears curb side service worked for me this summer--very well, though I guess it would depend on the retail staff (I've never had much luck with Lowe's.....). Our law associate was getting married, and another friend and I went in on his gift (they were registered at Sears for tools and such), so after conferring here at the office about what we were going to get, I ordered his Weber grill online, and drove the 20 minutes to the store on my lunch hour. It was waiting right there for me. Very simple, very easy, and they put it into my car, and I had time to stop at a mexican joint for a burrito.
Drive through liquor stores exist just about everwhere. I don't use them, because I typically just drink wine, and I like to look at the pretty labels too much! We have one near where I work, in Newport, called "Big Daddy's Liquor" with a sign from the early 70's. Classy. It's HOPPIN' at 2:30 am when the bars close....

yeah! I live in a dry county but I have seen them in other areas. Texas is pretty big on them!

I think its a fairly new concept for most stores and as such alot of glitches to get worked out along the way, but I can see this becoming main stream. I can see pros and cons to it though.

I tried this with Lowes today and I wasn't impressed. My dad had given me a list of things so I went online and placed my order for instire pickup. When I got to Lowes(i actually had to go inside to the service desk) the girl working didn't even know they did online ordering!!! I could see my order sitting there but of course she needed to check with her supervisor. I had to wait while she called him to come to the desk. It took him a little more than 5 minutes to get there. They then had to type my info into the computer and I has to sign a paper which they were printing. The printer was in the office though so I had to wait for the girl who ran into someone she knew to come back with the paper. I was in the store 12 minutes! If I has spent 5 more dollars online I would have qualified for free shipping and my order would have been brought right to my door!
