Greetings, gal pals! Just wanted to post an invitation to an open house I am having at my home in Norfolk, VA next Sunday, December 2nd, from 2 til 5 pm. There will be handmade greeting cards, gift tags, ornaments fashioned from felt, papier mache, and clay, wreaths of all sorts, including "green" wreaths I have made from wild grapevine, beautiful hydrangeas, etc. that would have been destined for curbside pickup. One of my girlfriends (hubby's daughter) is bringing her handmade jewelry and wonderful knitted goods. Should be a fun afternoon, so if anybody can swing by, email me for directions! Hugs, Nance

Well, the one armed paperhanger checking in! Hey gal pals! Sort of busy trying to put the finishing touches on everything, and then hopefully Saturday I can (GAG) dust and vacuum....the dining room and kitchen still look like a craftstore truck collided with a greenhouse delivery! Thanks to everybody for the encouraging posts. If I can get through to Bill and Mel, I will borrow the jet and everybody can be picked up! Love you guys, Nance

Nance,

I sure hope your open house goes well this weekend; I won't be able to get there either, but hopefully you will post some pics afterward?

I just got back from Portsmouth and Newport News, and wish I could be there at your open house. Won't be there again until Christmas.

Bonjour, Susan! Parfait! Je vous attend avec plaisir! In other words, howdy, perfect!, and I await you with pleasure. We will definitely be here next spring, and I would love to see you. Hopefully my drought inflicted yard will look more like Green Acres by then instead of Death Valley. Hugs, Nance

Hi Nance,
Gee wish I could come, I could bring you a shrub. But by the time I got there and back home it would be next year. I don't fly and I drive slow. But have fun with your open house. Wish we could all see pictures.

Robin, I would love to meet up with you! Just let me know. And Corinne, thank you for the kind words. Hope it will be a successful and fun afternoon. Hugs to all, Nance

P.S. Robin, when I was at Michael's craft store earlier today, the cashier started talking about duct tape and that it comes in PINK! I said "Oh I've got a friend who would love to know about that......IF she already doesn't!" Wouldn't it go nicely with your pink tractor that I am SURE will end up under the tree this year......

Hey Nance,
I will not be in Norfolk that day, but I will be there from December 10-14. My husband has a business trip there and asked me to come along. So I will be hanging out while he is in meetings all day. Maybe we could get together sometime that week. Hope you have a great time on Sunday, sounds like fun.
