Hello Frannie,
Have you ever baked stew or soup in small pie pumpkins and served straight out of the pumpkin with some of the baked pumpkin. I try to find small enough ones so everyone can have their own. Yummy!!! I love doing stew, beef, chicken, or what ever combination. I bake it with the pumpkin top on for a few hours then about 20 minutes before serving I add dumplings to the top and bake a bit longer till they are set. I have also done this with left over something out of the fridge add some liquid of some sort and bake away. My kids and family call me the Princess of recreated meals.

Frannie,
Everything looks real nice. Thanks for posting all the recipes I printed them all off. I had never seen the one with sour cream in the green bean casserole.

What a cozy gathering for a rainy day! I love your table and how you fixed it up....just warms the tummy looking at the delicious food. :) Beautiful!
