will there ever be a chance of the first mag. being put out again? I'm really interested in everything I'm missing. I ordered the back copy special, so I have all the others, but this one is missing... anyword?

Tina-
I think it would be fun to have the magazines on a CD too. Who knows- maybe in the future it will happen!

yes it is pretty costly. my husband used to be involved with the creating of illustrations on Airforce manuals for the government, and the prices on printing..wow!It is much harder to get something published than many people realize.Thousands of dollars for quality publications.
anyhow..it was just a thought I had (as far as the cd idea went)...but yes..all things like that cost moolah..and lots of it sometimes.

That is certainly something to consider Tina, but I am pretty sure that MaryJane isn't going to do a reprint of the Premiere Issue due to the costs of reprinting or even of reproducing it onto CD. It's amazing how many hidden costs there are in publishing! Especially when you get into the realms of royalties and paying contributors for their articles and such.

However, of course, everyone is more than welcome to sign up for the Premiere Issue Swap around-

I do wonder if it can be scanned in and put as a pdf format, then offered on a cd through the farm store for those that wish to have a copy?along with maybe a clip of video of "where the farm is at now"..a little video clip on how things have progressed, then do it as a special edition cd?
just a thought.

thanks Aunt Jenny- you are right about the round robin - I want in on that too. The MaryJanesFarm first issue is a hot commodity. I can't wait til it make it to me.

They don't plan to put it out again...It has been brought up alot, but I think the cost of reprinting it is just so much that it won't happen. Alot of us don't have it. Be sure to sign up for the round robin to read it though..if you go to the home page (click on home above in the right hand upper corner) to sign up..it explains it really well. I was in "the loop" the first time the premiere issue went around and it was so fun to get to read it!!!
