What a great outfit. I think it is classic and will make a lovely outfit for thanksgiving and for school teaching.

I just cut about 7 inches off in September cause I had bad split ends! I miss it but it feels and looks much better now. It will grow back!

Great outfit, Julie. And you got a flannel petticoat! How fantastic! I'm very envious of your beautiful long hair!

Thanks everyone! The original purpose was as a costume for a function at school. I have never been more comfortable though than I was on the day I wore that. My husband and the kids at school will think I am crazy but I plan to wear it at least once a month. I already told my husband I was wearing it for thanksgiving and his reply was "I figured!" That really made me laugh!

I actually bought the skirt on ebay from this seller http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZyoung8777 She has some really great stuff. I also bought a flannel petticoat. I had to take both up about 7 inches cause I am so short but it wasn't a problem.

My mother in law actually made the bonnette a long time ago and had it in her closet.

That is so cute. LOve the color
You are very pretty.
Love your hair too.
I wear my skirts like that
I have to have it right above the ankles
I have been told I am old fashioned; but I don't care
I would rather be old fashioned than having every thing shown
( I don't have a size 10 anyways.)ha
Love the picture you took pinkroses

Do you make these yourself? A friend of mine is in re-enactments and makes all the costumes and uniforms for her husband and herself. It is so cool. I love your outfit.
