What a surprise I got in the mail today from Sheila, [pink roses]. Its an absolutely beautiful hand crocheted pineapple Dolli, and its huge. I just love it. I feel all swelled up inside. I mean all the work that went into this. I just haven't the words to say Thankyou. There must be a bigger word I could use.
Well take a look at it, I posted a picture. ITS A BEAUTY!!!.

wowzer, what a lovely doily,,,& girlfriend, wish I lived near you....you find the best stuff on your thrifting,,,but NY is just a wee bit to far for me to drive & make it back home for dinner! lol!
Shelia's crocheting skills is awesome! Wish I had her talents.

lovely work Shelia.my grandmother used to do crochet work like that. love the pineapple design. in the South it is the symbol for Hospitality.

Sheila I am with you on that- I always have some yarn and a crochet hook where ever I go. Funny- met a new neighbor and the son- age 13- says- I remember you- I saw you at hockey tryouts sewing a bunch of stuff. Yup that was me with my bag-o-yo-yo!!!!!

I am glad you like it and the discloths
I knitted the dishcloths on the go Ha
Like taking Mom out to do her weekly errands
Waiting in the Doctor's office etc
I can't stand sitting and waiting on something and not having something to do

Sheila- all I can say is wow- it's exquisite! Nancy Jo you are one lucky lady!
I got a wonderful dish cloth from a swap and have been making them myself ever since. I use them for everything, I even have some out on display (my farmgirl ones!).

I was so excited about the Dolli that I forgot to mention that Sheila also send me two crocheted dishcloths. I read about how a lot of you make them but this is the first I have seen them. So thankyou Sheila.
