I had a great idea today. I want to fly my husband to Denver next September for his birthday and take him to a Broncos game. He has never been to a pro football game and the Broncos are his favorite team.

I already have the Broncos web site to order tickets when they become available for next season(I know - the stadium is mostly sold out to season ticket holders - so seats are VERY limited). What I really need is a reccomendation for a good hotel that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to stay in. My only requirement is that it is clean. My husband only cares that there is tv (go figure). I'd like it to be close to the stadium since we will be using public transportation while we are there.

I think with a year's (almost) planning and saving, I could pull it off.

So, anybody know of nice, clean, reasonably priced hotels there?

You may just want to ck prices online at travel sites. Here's one: http://www.virtualcities.com/ons/co/city/codenver.htm
I wouldn't have a clue as to what they charge offhand since living here ,
never need to stay in the hotels!! LOL

Thanks, Luanne. I really appreciate that. I have experienced many pro-football games when I was a kid and I just want him to have that same experience. There's nothing like being there.

Hi Lisa, That's a wonderful gift for your hubby. So thoughtful!! Since I'm here in Colorado, I'll check into some accommodations for you. My hubby knows Denver a lot better that I do, so I'll ask him. I'll also keep my eye out for a good deal in that area too. Hugs, Lu
