Posted - Oct 27 2007 : 12:51:03 PM Some will remember me posting about my hubby and the melanoma removed from his shoulder this summer. He had a second surgery to remove more tissue and some lymph nodes under his arm. Result- the cancer migrated and was found in one of the nodes. We found out on Tuesday. The gig with this type of cancer and the fact the the first tumor was level 4, is that the Dr. can't say when, where or if it will come back. The only certainty, because of the level, for Dale it will come back. We have filted it through at best we can for now and because we truly believe in the Lord, we know with out a doubt, whatever happens, God will see us through. In a way I feel honored that God sees me strong enough to go through this sacred fire, cause he promises not to give us what we can't handle. Do I like it?NOPE! Do I understand it? NOPE! But ' I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have commited unto Him against that day. I do so covet your prayers for us and our 3 girls, this is a tough one for us all. Thanks

Posted - Oct 29 2007 : 11:18:58 AM Sweet Julia, know that nothing is impossible when God is brought into it, and you've certainly done that. Know also, that your sisters here are ready and willing to help in any way we can, not the least of all in prayer. I keep thinking of you and your two (at that time) children at Farm Fair last and admiring your gentle spirit. God Bless.

Posted - Oct 27 2007 : 2:39:34 PM Julia, what a testimony of His power to give peace and comfort. I know about the "honor" as I have ALS (Lou Gerig's) myself. Self pity is the enemy, isn't it? I'm praying for you all, and if it is His will, I pray your husband will be healed here on earth. Email me anytime you want extra prayer or hugs... or anything. ....Beloved, let us love.
