Sorry I missed it by a day - hope you're having a beautiful weekend, and I hope your weather is as great as it is here in Louisville! Celebrate your big day all weekend!

Happy Birthday, Karin--we also share our birthday with Edgar Allen Poe, I think. I turned 34 yesterday--but 50 is on its way, isn't it? I kindof stopped counting after 30, but as long as I still get carded when we go out, I'm cool with it :)

Hope you had a BIG celebration, and hope your 50th year is one to remember!

Hey, Jonni!

We must be birthday twins!!! Yesterday was also my birthday, the "Big 5-0"! Any chance we're that much twins!

Hope you had a good day and have a good year to come!

Thanks so much, girls! It sure has been a lovely weekend--Friday night I went to see a play (The Diary of Anne Frank), which, true, is a bit of a downer, but was so wonderfully done! Last night (my official birthday), I went to dinner with my two mother in laws, and sister in law, and then to hear my husband play acoustically (I got to write the setlist, so that was a nice gift to me, all my favorites!), and today, because he had to "work" on my birthday, we got lost all over Gallatin County, Kentucky, found a pumpkin patch and got some lovely, round, orange friends, and a couple bales of straw, and found parts of the county I didn't know even existed. Finished off our jaunt at Big Bone Lick State Park for their Salt Festival, where we ate our weight in country ham and funnel cakes. Kentucky is SOOO gorgeous, and yes, Janice, the weather here is simply unbelievable.

It has been a SUPER wonderful birthday, and thank you girls for remembering... I am truly blessed!!!!!!
