My bag is a 1 strap sling backpack style, Black and red. In the main compartment:

A small bright green bag which has medications- prescription and tylenol, ibuprofen, tums, benadryl, for just in case, and flossers.

Sunglasses
Contact solution in a ziploc bag
Sample size pink grapefruit lotion
Black wallet/checkbook
Seahawks knit hat
sample pack size kleenex
Roasted almond crunch granola bar
sample size cocoa butter
several crumpled receipts
Three post-it pads, one from Hawaii, two standard square blue and purple
One tiny post it pad in a burgandy cover (1.5 x2 or so) white with lacy edges, that I just opened and found an I love you mom from my daughter.

In the front pocket:
two pairs of reading glasses
Two Cd's ( I assume music)
Change purse with ID and credit cards and my Fire Coin, extra contacts, some change, no bills.
Rio music player
Four packets of sweet and sour sauce ( I am taking those out)
Burts Bees lip balm (my favorite)
THree writing pens
mints
Fire Pager
Cell phone

In the side net pocket:
Fire radio
several pairs of exam gloves

Keys are hooked to the loop on the top with a yellow caribeaner

I am not sure what my back pack says about me- but I must have cleaned it out recently because there's usually some crocheting, various envelopes, and other things floating around in there.

Lord, keep your arm around my shoulder and your hand over my mouth!

My bag was made by Michele of Windy Pines. It suits me perfectly. A pretty floral pattern with a long shoulder strap & "Farmgirl" is stitched on the front pocket. I scaled down what I carry inside: wallet, comb, hand sanitizer, tissues, keys, coupons and mints. I tidied up when I moved into this purse back in August.

There's a hand wipee, toothpaste, toothbrush, and dental floss..I think that about covers it. OOps! Wait there's a pink flowered nail file that say GIRL POWER on it.

well my diaper bag and purse are one together at this time so this could be fun! I found some extra buttons (from the "comfy pants" I bought from Target and put on in the truck while we were at quicktrip, oh that was fun, the alarm started going off while i'm in the back and all the kids were in it, we had to just sit there and waite for my husband to come out and shut it off, I couldn't even get out because of the children locks-- that was just one of those moments!) Anyway back to my back and off memory lane---- we have an extra passy, a breast sheild, nose sucker, gas drops, neosporin, sunglasses, a bag for stinky or wet stuff- somepictures given to me from a girl at church, my breastcancer hot or cold cup, baby wipes and extra clothes, an old check book that has something I heard on a cowboy song wrote song, the suckers that the bank lady gave me yesterday(have you seen what a 2year old does with a sucker--what a mess) and some fingernail polish--just in case I should be in a way that I could actually polish my nails! My wallet has a bout $100, (I went to Jamesport an Amish town yesterday! had to get some pumkins) Lipstick and my keys with pink panther on it! Well thats it. I guess that tells about me that I'm no uptown girl! yea for me!!!

I'm working on getting a sewing box ready for when the hubby is driving. I'll be working on those yo-yos!

cell phone, when I remember to grab it

couple of pens which I can never find when I need one
a hankie

Right now I'm carrying a purse I made. While I was making it, I called it "the ugly purse". It is a patchwork rag purse and I have had more compliments on it..go figure.
So..hardly any cash, but I do have my trusty debit card and VISA. You just give the cashier your square of plastic and everything is free...right?
Cellphone I hardly ever turn on, hand sanitizer (ok, so I'm a germ-a-phob)...little pkg. of kleenex with lambies on it, 3 pens, tictacs, enough change to roll and pay the mortgage with I'm sure.
In my wallet, way too many plastic discount cards I never use, a letter that my grandfather wrote me about 30 yrs ago with his marvelous handwriting...AND, this will make you laugh and tell you my age...a press pass from a Dave Clark Five concert LOL (did they even call them concerts then???).

Oh my...I couldn't begin to list all that is in my bag! Mine changes constantly..right now a leather simple one with lots of pockets..
here are a few highlights...
pocketknife, small knitting project, tiny flashlight, excedrin, keys, notepad, pictures of all the kids (I have 7 and one perfect granddaughter who is 5 now), an epi-pen (allergic to bee stings), two small bottles of hand lotion, small first aid kit, small mending kit, alot of saftey pins right now for some reason, cell phone that I rarely remember to turn on, two pretty hankies, small thing of kleenex for the kids, a paperback book, and a granola bar. (hardly any cash and never a pen when I need one!)

Well I have never in my life carried a bag---well maybe in high school. But I got a really cute bag from Kathy (newslady) and decided now that I have a camera and cell phone and checks I might need a purse. I have a wallet with cards etc in and carry that in my jeans. So having said that here is what is in my bag. Remember I am a farmgirl/
Checkbook
one spur
hand lotion
swiss Army Knife
bandaides
double A batteries
coupons for the grocery store
camera
change at the bottom
small dog collar
That'a about it. MB

I have a lovely navy plaid bag from Target.

I have a wallet with the usual library cards, discount cards, debit cards, checkbook, stamps, and receipts.
A small scottie bag with my ipod stuffed inside. A different scottie bag with my minerals finishing veil stuff, a pot of hair goo to tame my unruly hair, Burts Bees lip shimmer in cocoa, Burt's Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm and Revelon's colorstay lip gloss in Real Raisin.
I also have a calculator, and a small pair of scissors.
Cell phone, Burts Bees milk and honey hand lotion (travel size)
Coupon wallet
Glucose meter
Usually, I have a book in there too, but I am not reading anything purse sized right now.
Evidently, I am quite the pack rat.

Mine is a new (very smart) Vera Bradley bag, some new autumn pattern, but it looks like a 50's purse.

I transferred from a black coach leather bag, some kindof hobo thingee...anyway, here we go:

burts bees pomegranite chap stick
one taup-ey/mauv-ey lipstick
checkbook (with same VB patterned cover)
leather wallet with photos of dogs, niece/nephew, mom and dad in 1975 and my Great Aunt Madge at 18 in 1929. Oh. $3.00 cash, and about a gazillion pennies.
pen
receipt from a potter that I bought a great pitcher from on Saturday
grocery list from this evening's dinner (made for a friend we haven't seen in a while)
Quick Knitting Reference Guide ( a tiny booklet that brushes up on stitches, keeps a needle inventory, etc...)
Coupon for $5.00 off my next visit to the Flag Fork Herb Farm Garden Restaurant
Gift card with $4.00 remaining for Cracker Barrel--in case I'm on the road, and I need to eat, I have a little "extra".

That's it!
