Posted - Oct 14 2007 : 7:29:31 PM and they sway..just ever so slightly..not much though, and they are about 18 inch tall vases , and the poles go all the way into the vases.of course in hurricane/windy weather they'll be removed.:0)there are now a dozen bottles on posts..they are at varying heights..but get progressively shorter..the last one is at about waist high. I think when everything is done and I have some vines growing on the posts that it's all gonna look pretty cool.

Posted - Oct 14 2007 : 7:27:01 PM they are about a foot apart from each other..and the stakes are sunk in about a foot deep. there are now a dozen of them in a curve. I had to fix my blog site..after posting things went "wonky" so I had to repost the article and images..if you left a comment on the blog..I missed it. Thanks for looking though. It's gonna take some time to get things exactly like I want them in the garden. But so far..so good.:0)

Posted - Oct 14 2007 : 6:53:33 PM That looks great! Are they going to wave in the wind, because you might want to make sure they are far enough apart that they don't crash into each other and break.

Posted - Oct 14 2007 : 5:57:15 PM Tina- That is going to be adorable. I know someone who placed large 16penny nails in her porch railing and then placed different colored pitchers and vases and such upside down on the nails. When the sun hit them, the sight was spectacular!! I am sure your bottle garden will be just as beautiful!
