Posted - Oct 13 2007 : 5:54:31 PM Hello, I can't grow a garden here due to poor soil but I am becoming a little banana farmer. LOL My trees have taken over the yard and a have lots of bananas on there. I posted pictures on my blog if you would like to see how bananas grow. http://elizabethssimplejourney.blogspot.com/ It takes 9 months for them to ripen. Enjoy, Elizabeth

Posted - Oct 13 2007 : 6:10:31 PM Good for you with your banana crop.....it is like giving birth to a human! 9 months....but bananas are definitely worth the wait. There is no food better for the body! I have heard they are the perfect meal self-contained. Go girl! Grow those bananas!
