I just got off the phone with my aunt (Miss Wilma) and she was talking about the grand time that she had when Mary Jane came to visit her and her family at their home. She couldn't come to Kentucky at a better time with our beautiful leaves changing colors and the crisp air. Wilma said that everyone had a wonderful time. I really wish I could have been there. It sounds like they had a great supper and breakfast with down home cooking. I know my aunt cooks the best meal you'll ever have that's for sure! They also got to hear some traditional bluegrass, folk, and country music songs by a few friends. Hopefully if Mary Jane and her family are back in the area, we will get to meet up. I hope you have lots of wonderful memories from your visit.

Hey there Meg! Wilma had just so many great things to say about you guys and the visit. She told me the watermelon story too. :) I'm surprise my uncle didn't make the "big biscuit" that he usually makes for breakfast! haha.

Would love to have you guys back sometime soon and that we'll get to meet as well.

Take care,
Jessica

Jessica~ We did have such a grand time at Miss Wilma's. It was all too short. We will certainly be back and hopefully get to meet you too! But we did enjoy some delicious watermelon directly from gardens in front of the front porch! It was such fun! Wonderful!!

Yep, my aunt was just too excited to let me know how everything went. I had a meeting with my work that I had to attend and I wasn't able to make it down there. However, she shared some stories with Mary Jane. Wilma said that little Stella was the cutest baby and just so happy. She said everyone seemed to be extremely happy to be there and relaxed. It was just like family being there.

Before I forget, Wilma will be having an open house with her shop there on the farm in November. I'll post up more information in a few. Also, she now has a website: www.picturetrail.com/misswilmasplace so be sure to check it out and tell her that I sent ya! There is info on her open house on there too.

If I could dream up a good time it would include bluegrass, Maryjane and fam, down home cookin, and real gals. Sounds like heaven to me! I am glad you had fun!
