Well, I finally finished this only about a month late! Below is a picture- Not very good because it is indoors and at night which my camera hates. It is "primitive" as in- my sewing skills are sub-par but that's okay. It should hold together! LOL :D

I (with LOTS of help from Carol Sue) started on the hmm...background? of this project today. Should be lots of fun. Just a reminder. I need to have your contributions in my hot little hands no later than the end of November. Any late submissions will be put into a scrapbook and given at a later date, so please don't fret if you have to send late. But of course, early is better than late ;)

Okay ladies! I want to do a Christmas present for MaryJane with your help! It will be something easy to do, but I don't want to ruin the suprise by posting too much about it here on the forum.

If you want to participate it will require a little bit of stitching and then sending something to me. I will then assemble it with the help of some local farmgirls in time to give MaryJane her present for Christmas. Email me for more info on how to participate by clicking on my name. I need you to be able to mail me your part by the end of November at the _latest_. The sooner you can get it to me the better.

This will be super fun!

Hugs from a very exited Alee!

Christmas in JANUARY!!!!!! I am wearing my new quilt like a shawl and feeling so happy. I LOVE< LOVE< LOVE< it!!! This is just the best kind of gift on earth. I am so pleased and so proud of Alee for tackling her very first quilt. And Traci, who works here packaging food, for tackling her first ever embroidery piece. It is soooo FARMGIRL. Alee used an old tablecloth for the backing and it is the perfect thickness. I love you all for giving me such a precious remembrance. I'll cherish it FOREVER!!!!

Love, love you all and THANKS! You have no idea how much this means to me at this time....

Alee - this quilt is just one of the coziest, primitive yet beautiful, colorful and inviting quilts I have ever seen! I love the way you decided to put everything together. Has MaryJane seen it now? I have a feeling it will be just what she would have wanted! I really like it.

Hi Ladies!

If you can get me a patch within the next two weeks there is still time. It doesn't take me long to applique them on. Infact I haven't even started on them yet. Just got a few more the other day. So if you still want to participate please email me for my address.

Hey Ladies!

It's still not to late to contribute! I am starting to applique the patches to the present. So email me if you can get one one and ship it to me, or if you are finishing one up, don't be afraid to pop it in the mail still! It's not to late! I would like to see a few more to decorate the present. Let's show her how much she means to us!!
