jonni .. i remember those 'workin' days .. but i was lucky to work for 'uncle sam' .. we had fantastic leave policies .. and oh honey! i used up every hour!

daughter wednesday attended the Baltmore High School for the Perfoming Arts (remember the olde FAME movie??) actually, there was a dance movie out recently that was about her high school. She went to school with TUPAC .. and Jada Pinkett. Continued her ballet in college (even got a scholarship) .. but she went to university 'out west' and fell madly in love with the environment .. and wanted to follow her dad's footsteps .. (environmental attorney) .. she just got her dream job .. working for the Environmental Division in the Ohio Attorney General's office.

I would only live in Toledo because our grandkids are there .. but i do have lots of fun in that city when i do visit.

Thanks Carrie for your sweet words. I swear .. i think i have more energy than the 'energizer bunny'! xo

That's funny, Frannie, I was a ballerina, too. Spent most of my dancing days in England. She's not too far from me, though I never really think of Toledo as having much going on--glad to hear she's showering it with culture!

Unfortunately, I only have one more day of vacation, and it's actually a sick day. I would love to come down and meet Mary Jane and all the girls, but I just know as soon as I take that day, I'll get the plague (like I do every Christmas) and then I'll be without money when I really need it!

Pesky jobs!!!!

Frannie those children are precious. I have a red haired grandson(9) and a blonde granddaughter(13) that I feel the same way about. I took a few minutes and looked at your blog again. Your home is just lovely. It is like looking at a beautiful country store. I can tell you really do honor all the things that make your heart sing.

MINE ARE BROWN!!!

jonni .. wednesday was a ballerina .. and she is on the ballet board in toledo .. sooo .. i'm sure some 'dancing' is in sofia's future. (lucas is taking tennis lessons now) .. and he loves his golf clubs too! baseball is his frist love though!

she is now in atlanta .. can hardly wait to hear of all the fun the girls are having! xo

So sweet! Lucas is a toehead like I was! You don't see too many children with that hair color anymore!

I love Sofia's ballet slippers....very sweet.
